SPIN OFF COMPANIES AND BUSINESS INNOVATION AT SANT’ANNA SCHOOL BIOROBOTICS INSTITUTE: “MEDIATE” COMPANY WILL UNVEIL NEW ROBOTIC AUTONOMOUS SHOPPING CART “MOBOT” AT ROBOTICS FESTIVAL IN PECCIOLI ON SEPTEMBER 29
In today's world medical technologies are appropriated by people in homes, clinics and communities. On September 29, at the International Robotics Festival in Peccioli – Pisa, Mediate, a Sant’Anna School Biorobotics Institute Spin Off company will present MoBot, a mobile robot autonomous cart which can carry items and products from parking areas to homes. Designed to lead products through the town, MoBot will soon and efficiently help Peccioli’s citizens and users.
The autonomous mobile robot cart is equipped with a control system to prevent collisions with other people or other obstacles. The system works by adapting itself to different paths and it can measure the position and distance of its user.
On September 30, “MoBot” will be presented at the Stazione Leopolda in Pisa.
The International Robotics Festival in Peccioli and Pisa is free and open to the public. In addition to robotic and augmented reality technology, visitors will see autonomous vehicles, digital technology applications, and robotics fish.
